I have removed all about Claire. Enough was said when it was first aired on the Forum. I made a mistake in letting it be brought up again.

Thank you the very few that did try to keep it going. All I will say it is a shame that the amount of entries posted over the past hours had been posted about wildlife and happier events over the past weeks the Forum would have been worth continuing.

Mr Farmer Why have you removed the post you put on at 11.43pmish. It was a long rant.Quite upsetting, couldn't sleep after reading it.

Aw just looked in on the Osprey, one of the young got up and immediately started to flap its wigs it was making it right across the nest, and gaining some height. It wont be long before they take to their wings and take off to make their own way in this world bless them the little ducks. Karen Stoke

Hi Haven't posted for a while. I felt that things I was speaking about weren't getting any response. I wish now that I had tried harder but having depression myself I am easily deterred. Thanks so much Mr Farmer for everything. Can someone explain the twitter thing and how I get to the right place. I am on facebook but that is all. I will send my permission to Mr. Farmer for anyone to contact me through my e-mail or my facebook. Please do as I would love to hear from you all.

We also have a special Holiday in Canada on 1st July, Canada Day. We are always under the cloud of the 4th July but the 1st is very important to canadians. Love to all and happy animal watching
p.s. Penny Chicago we will be coming again I don't still have your e-mail but you would be able to get mine from Mr. Farmer. Betty

As the Diary is not being used very often it is becoming a waste of my time checking for any entries, so unfortunately as from Sunday it will stop. This will give you an opportunity to say your good byes.

Yes Jan (Scotland)i agree with you wholeheartedly Denbury everything about it was Magical. I am personally devastated by this very special site going.

I would also like to add i have mental health probs but i would and could never deceive any of you on here or any one in my true life. I will be be very very honest, i am appalled!! at your behaviour Claire, and this so called Alekk(does this person even exist) appalled you quite honestly disgust me to the core. I personally broke down crying when i logged on this morning and read what Mr Farmer had said it ruined my day before it started was to happen to our Forum as we have become a family of sorts. But never mind the SORRY bit for me an explanation would suffice in this case. I feel Sorry just wouldn't cut it for me, i am afraid.... I do hope you feel accomplished in your deed Claire.. you must be one unhappy individual i am fuming its just so sad...what did you get out of it anyway????? One minute youre not going to post the next you do ?????

Mr Farmer i would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart what you did for us i will never forget you for this as i said before your a gentleman and a scholar you've brightened so many days up for us over the years many many thanks. For those of us who have been on this forum for a long time and added photos of interest to the gallery of wildlife and spectacular scenery all around the British Isles for the pleasure of others who are less fortunate or housebound and disabled it is sad that it has come to an end.It has helped many and given great pleasure and I thank Mr Farmer for that.We don't all twitter or use Facebook or are on any other social network and as usual the minority have spoilt it for the majority. Many thanks for all the time you have put into this Mr and Mrs Farmer and expense.I am very disappointed.Lindsay.North Yorkshire.

I haven't posted for a long time, I didn't get any replies to my posts a while ago, but I have enjoyed reading about most people, and can truly appreciate why people want this to run in some form or another. I agree with Maddi's remark about Twitter Mr Farmer, cos you did set one up a wee while ago. It would be a shame for this to be closed down on such a sour note. I love watching the cams, and I especially enjoyed when you showed the foals being born, that was just magical, and it kept me glued to my computer for many a night, like a lot of people at the time. How is Thornton? I have told so many people about this site, to the extent of possibly boring them. Thank you for showing us so many wonderful things. Jan (Scotland)

Mr Farmer, after reading Elsie's post, could you not transfer the forum to your Twitter page? any innapropriate tweets can be deleted & the person blocked from page, & when you do have some time you could join in :)Some good friendships have started here, those living alone have come to depend on the forum for chat & comfort, it would be a shame for them to lose touch. Please at least ask those on the forum if they would like to change to Twitter & see what they say.
Maddi.

One thing I am going to miss on the Forum is, having someone to listen and advise when we were worried about something, or, if we had lost a loved one. We all came together and held out our hands to help each other at sad times. A kind word is all some people need to help them. Something worth thinking about. Take care all of you. Elsie

I am terribly sad as is everyone else about loosing the forum. I began to feel things were not right and I felt distrustful after the Claire episode, which then drove people to Twitter.I do not twitter and have no idea where to start. I have never contributed a lot as my life is quite busy sometimes, with news that would not be of interest to most, but I have enjoyed reading all the other comments. I can understand you have been so busy Mr Farmer but I still look every day at the Diary just in case! Thank you so much for all the pleasure the forum and diary have given us all. Loved some of the debates. Karen I loved your enteries about your urban foxes, and Julias wildlife encounters around Bristol airport.Rose W'canton

I have to "ditto" the comments made by Jan (Herts), Pat and a few others. Also, Janice (Leeds), you mention freedom of speech. I am sad to say there doesn't seem to be any for some of us who have tried posting quite acceptable posts which have been rejected (many times) for no apparent reason. That could be one reason why there aren't many posts any more.

However, having said that, I have had a lot of fun on here when things were good. There have been some great debates and I have really missed those lately. I will miss reading about your lives and wildlife tales. Mr Farmer, I sorely miss your diaries and occasional updates but I know that a farmers life is not an easy one.

May I wish everyone all the best for the future. Mr & Mrs Farmer, I hope we will still be able to watch the cams, and I also wish you all the best for the future. Sue, Middlesex

Mr Farmer I am so sorry to read that you will be stopping this from Sunday. It is such a shame for those people who have no one apart from the people on here. I shall miss the forum I do read it every day althought I don't post daily.
Reading some of the postings since your announcement I am amazed that some one had the cheek to say they had posted a link to another forum set up by one of them. Are they using that instead of here? Also saying that they had seen it coming IF YOU SAW IT COMING THEN WHY NOT TRY AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT BY USING IT!!!
I do hope that you might reconsider if only for the sake of Robin should he be able to get online again.
Finally Mr Famer can I say a very big thank you to all at Denbury for what you have done and let us see over the last 4 years that I have been watching. Have enjoyed every minute of it.
Also a very big goodbye to the close friends that I have made on here. You and your comments will be sorely missed by me. Elaine

Val,
Perth.
I would be happy for Mr Farmer to pass on to you (and anyone else for that matter) my own email address so you can chat when you feel like it. I don't know if Mr F will allow it, but I have no problem with giving out my email.
Over the past few weeks I have been conscious of less and less people posting, I have made an effort(along with a few others) to appeal to people to keep posting. I think the people who diverted to Twitter have partly been responsible for the decline of the forum! As for the inference to dramas - live and let live - is what I say!! As a nation we are supposed to support freedom of speach and that should apply to EVERYONE!
Please Mr Farmer, feel free to pass on my email address to anyone who requests it.
Good luck and thank you for the pleasure that you have given to us all.
Janice,Leeds
