Pat, yes it is Dawlish. It is the only place apart from Southchurch Park in Southend on Sea where I have seen them. There is an Estate in the Yorkshire Dales not far from here who keep a few.The relections on the lake were lovely earlier.Lindsay North Yorkshire.

Mr Farmer thank you so much for the diary last night have only just managed to read. I like Rose Wincanton had problems with my computer yesterday it wouldn't stay connected for more than a few seconds. Bet your heart was in your mouth watching the swan, so glad you are getting another one.
May I say a tearful goodbye to all my friends on here. Robin should you ever manage to get back online please contact either Mr Farmer or Elsie to let us know how you are. Love to all Elaine

Vicky thank you for your earlier post asking Mr Farmer to reconsider i have been dying to ask him but didn't know w how to word it you have done it for me Ty... Please will you think about it Mr Farmer i am willing to beg lol. It has made such an impact on many peoples lives it would be such a shame to loose this unique forum because it is so special to many. I am not ready to say goodbye to any one as yet, as i have hoped, and hoped like you cant imagine we get a reprieve. And thank you for the Diary, living in hope yours faithfully. Karen Stoke

I have only posted once last night. I am very sad to see this forum going. I live on my own and have watched the goings on for quite a few years, and it has been nice to see other people who also take comfort from this forum. I wish everyone all the best, its a shame I never had the courage to post before.

I don't think the Ospreys have fledged yet - they were hidden from view on the edge of the nest. Have read their forum and no mention of fledging. Rosie's Mum in Toronto

There is a lovely picture of the lake in the evening light on the hatchery cam and it looks like there is a castle at the end of the lake. Karen Stoke I am going to miss reading your stories of Jordan, he sounds like a lovely young man. Val Perth

Mr farmer I don't wand to speak of of turn but would you please consider keeping the forum open even if it is just for talk about wildlife which why it was started. Last year I had a bug box made for me and I have a leaf eater bee cutting semi circle pieces out of my rose bush leaves which she carries into the box and lays her eggs in them. Vicky
